The book opens to the reader the world of Marina di Pisa, the main town on the Pisan coast, which offers tourists a unique beauty, confirmed by over 40 color photos. In fact, the human story of Count Max, a nobleman of Milanese origin who first became Venetian by adoption for having married a Venetian doctor, and then Florentine, also by adoption, to be close to his daughter and beautiful granddaughter, meets with Marina di Pisa, as he is now a guest, for health reasons, of Casa Azzurra, a retirement home located right on the sea of the Pisan coast. In this new reality of his life he discovered the history of Marina di Pisa, from 1600 to today, as well as the beauties of its pine forest, the town center and the beaches of both sand and white stones. Furthermore, taking advantage of his Nobile di Conte charm, Max has established relationships with women of the second and third age who live in Marina di Pisa. Thus the new Pisan character, but still adopted, manages to give a sense of normality to his life as a self-sufficient guest of Casa Azzurra, a retirement home located on the coastal road of Marina di Pisa, as well as enjoying a magnificent sea view.
