The volume originates from the experience of the Summer School program in "Transnational Commercial Law & Technology" established under the aegis of the Center of Excellence IUSTeC on Law, Technology and Social Change of the University of Verona, School of Law, with the invaluable support of the Center for International Legal Education (CILE) of the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law (and of its Director, Prof. Ronald Brand). The volume addresses two areas of interest in the relationship between law and technology: the impact of technology on dispute resolution, on the one hand, and the intersection between copyright and technology, on the other hand. All issues addressed in the works collected here are hot topics in the current legal debate. Edited by Marco Torsello is a Full Professor of Comparative Private Law at the University of Verona and a Global Professor of Law at New York University, School of Law. At Verona University, he is also the Director of the Center of Excellence for the study of Law, Technology, and Social Change. He is the author of numerous publications on comparative law, international contracts, and cross-border dispute resolution. He is a name partner at ARBLIT - Radicati di Brozolo Sabatini Benedettelli Torsello, a firm specializing in arbitration and international commercial litigation.
