The Great Flood was an event that actually took place, as testified in the Old Testament and supported by evidence in numerous accounts from past civilisations and geographical records. Many of these stories refer to Noah's Ark and all versions share remarkable similarities. The author of this book decided to set out on a quest for The Ark, but first he took a scientific approach to some careful research, analysing and comparing eye witness accounts of sightings, studying expedition records of past explorers and their photos, identifying rediscovered timbers from the structure and examination of satellite images. Then he set off. After five adventurous expeditions from which his discoveries are recounted in meticulous detail and supported by photos taken personally, he was able to declare that the "legend" is a "reality". It sits, covered in eternal ice, on Mount Ararat. The most important archaeological find of all time has its resting place.
