"Once were warriors" is a photo book of the Italian aviation photographer Luigino Caliaro, dedicated to the planes of II World War still flying in the world operated by museum or historic aviation association mainly in Northern Europe and USA. The book is 200 full color pages with more than 400 stunning images of the "warbirds", taken by Caliaro flying in close formation with the planes photographed during specifically arranged photo session.
